1. Who this applies to
Who can ask for their data to be deleted.
These instructions are for anyone who has chatted with a WhatsApp bot that Kempro sets up and manages, whether it belongs to a business that contracted the service or is one of Kempro's own bots.
When the bot belongs to a business, that business is the controller of your data and Kempro handles the request as data processor, on behalf of the business.
2. How to request it
Two ways to request deletion.
Option 1: via WhatsApp (main channel)
Type «BORRAR MIS DATOS» ("delete my data") in the business's WhatsApp chat. The bot will ask you to confirm with buttons and, once you confirm, deletes your data for that business.
If you have a pending payment, the bot will ask you to repeat the request once the payment is completed.
Option 2: by email
Write to cumplimiento@kempro.ai and include your WhatsApp number and the name of the business.
3. What is deleted
The data that is deleted and the data that is not.
Data that is deleted
The personal data the bot stores about you for that business is deleted:
- Profile.
- WhatsApp number.
- Conversation.
- Shipping address.
- Cart.
- Consents.
How long it is kept if you don't request deletion
This data is kept for as long as Kempro's relationship with the business lasts and until you expressly and explicitly request its deletion. When the service with a business ends, its customers' data is delivered to the business in an exportable file within 15 business days of termination and permanently deleted, except for what the law requires to be kept, within 30 calendar days of delivery.
Data not deleted through this process
- Orders and payments that the business must keep for accounting or legal obligations.
- Data that Meta (WhatsApp) and Wompi process under their own privacy policies. For that data, contact each of them directly.
4. Timeframe and confirmation
When and how we respond.
Via WhatsApp, deletion happens as soon as you confirm it.
By email, your request is handled within a maximum of 15 business days and we will confirm the deletion through the same channel.
